Kimba has been adopted by an officer of the Guardia Civil in Fuerteventura. Fergie, Sir Henry, Teddy, Leonie & Belle, Tracy, Felicity and Miss Murphy all found wonderful homes with new families and will fly out in January.

17.12.2007: Emergency: Jakob needs a loving owner

Jakob is a very pleasant 4-year-old tom-cat who always seeks cuddles and love. As he does not get along with other cats, he is only focused on two-legged friends.

Finally the construction of the overdue quarantine ward kicked off. The first part of the ward has already opened for feral patients.

Emergency kittens Queeny and Phil seeks a foster home or permanent home
|

Queeny, the beautiful tabby kitten is blind due to an extreme case of micro- ophtalmy. That means that her eyes were very tiny when she was born. Phil also suffers from this phenomenon, but in a slighter way. He can see, though not as well as other cats. These two kittens now seek a new home together. The sweet cat, suffering from feline leukemia virus, has purred her way into the heart of her foster parent.
Bonita, the second cat suffering from feline leukemia virus has also found a foster home there.

16.08.2007: Emergency cat Missy is fine. Today we got the laboratory results, everything is ok.

Thanks to the passengers who took Missy and the Burmese with them on their flight to Germany.
Also many thanks to Nina and Andrea who picked up the cats at Paderborn airport in the middle of the night.

07.08.2007: We have many cats who have to be brought to Germany urgently. Therefore, we need foster homes!

Nala, 10 weeks old, female, needs eye treatment. Maybe she can maintain her eyesight on her left eye. Without a foster home, she can not come to Germany.
Blacky, 2-4 years old, male, long-haired, needs X-rays and a tooth treatment. Without a foster home, he can not be treated.
The medical costs are covered by us. Donations are always welcome.

Three-month-old kittens need a loving home.
You can adopt a pair or if you already have another cat, you can also take just one. Of course, you may always adopt three of four of these sweet little creatures.
We have kittens in all different colours. Of course, all of them are extremely affectionate and love to cuddle and to play.

17.07.2007: Unfortunately, no Happy End
|
Bonita, suffering from feline leukemia, had to move out of her new home in Offenbach. Her ownerīs circumstances interfered with her safety and health.
Now she is looking for a new home.

11.07.2007: Flip has safely landed on July 7th.
|
|

Flip is back on Fuerteventura and Nicola and Werner are very happy to have him back.
Claudia has brought Flip back on her flight on July 7th. Nicola and Werner were already waiting for him at the airport.
Many thanks to Marie with whom Flip lived for four weeks while being treated in Germany. She was happy for him, but also very sad that he left. Now, Coco and Chanel are at Marieīs foster home.

Our web provider was not able to solve a technical error for more than 52 hours. A very bad performance for Germanyīs largest provider. Therefore, we were not able to update our web site.

Black cats do not bring bad luck, they are not doomed and also not vicious.
The old Egyptians revered cats. One of their goddesses, Bastet, had the shape of a cat. She is the goddess of joy, dance, music and celebrations.
Ramses is a very good example for our black cats. He is a beautiful black tom-cat, approx. 1 year old. Ramses stands for many black cats.
Ramses was born in the cat refuge. He is adorable, loves to cuddle and to play. And he is looking for a new home.

Good times and bad times are so close

Today, June 16th, Sugar, Lola and Mia and two 12-week-old kittens moved to their new loving homes.
Yesterday, Softie and Tiffany went over the rainbow bridge. They will always have a place in our heart.

12.06.2007: Flip underwent surgery today. The brave old guy made it.

He also had a tumor and an abscess on his left side. It was all removed and we hope it is not malignant.

04.06.2007: Flip has to fly to Germany in order to undergo surgery
|
|
|
The sweet lad broke his shoulder about 8 years ago. This old injury is now causing trouble. The vets on Fuerteventura are not able to ameliorate his pain.
Now, Flip is to be treated in Germany in the pet clinic München-Oberhaching.
After his treatment, Flip can fly back to Fuerteventura to Nicola and Werner who already await him desperately.

Cat owners in the Munich area, the Alps and in Swabia - watch out. Cat catchers are on their way.
In the last months, approx. 570 cats disappeared in Munich alone! The catchers sneak around after sunset and often disguise as collectors of second-hand clothing.
The best precaution is to lock in your pet at night-time.
