If you would like to adopt one of our cats, you have to sign a protection contract and pay an adoption fee. When your adopted cat is not yet neutered/spayed due to his/her age, you agree to have him/her operated as soon as he/she reaches maturity.
Basically we only look for new homes where there already is a cat or for new owners who take a pair. Still, there are also a few cats who prefer to be a single pet. The cats on this page are only a small number of all our cats seeking adoption.
If desired, we can also test the cat for FIV and FeLV

CUDDLY LITTLE TIGER BABIES
Sweetest little kitties, 5 weeks old. The babies and their mother were brought to the refuge centre when the kittens were only two weeks old. Obviously they were just too much for the old owner who forgot to have his cat spayed, but then dumped her because she had kittens.
They will be able to fly out in by the end of April 2009. Should be rehomed as two pairs. |

EMILIO
Emilio is deeply heart-broken as his owners had to go home to Britain and could not take him with them. He is 10 years old and although the new circumstances in the cat refuge centre are very new to him, he is still friendly and very sociable to all people and cats. Absolutely adorable old soul, in a very good condition, hearty and healthy.

Gorgeous British Short Hair kitty, 10 months old, already spayed. Loves to cuddle and purr all day long. Exceptionally beautiful eyes and a very friendly character. Princess does not need a castle. A loving owner with a cosy little flat would do :-)

Very friendly 2-year-old tom-cat. Was left at the cat refuge with no further comment from the former owners.
Connor is very sensitive and heart-broken and therefore shows no big appetite since he is with us. But we are sure he will resume his old eating habits as soon as he settles down. |

ROBYN
Robyn is a gorgeous 1-year-old tabby tom-cat. He can not understand why he lost his home, as he was always friendly, well-educated and never damaged anything. We presume that like so often, the owners wanted to have a kitten and lost interest in a grown-up cat.
Absolutely adorable, very pleasant and constantly begging for a stroking hand.

White Curly has a sweet curled piggy ear and is best friends with slender Rodney. We are very glad that we were able to find a home for this inseparable pair who love to play all day long.

Betty is ten years old and was brought to our cat shelter as her owners had to return to England due to health reasons. Therefore, she is devastated and very stressed. She came with her friend "Marlon" (see below), but at the moment, she even rejects him.

She loves both cats and dogs, so even a new owner with dogs is more than welcome.

CLIMBER the cat burglar
Climber is a real cat burglar. He pulls up everywhere, mostly in order to train his brawny body. He is four years old and thanks to his daily pull-ups he is immensely fit and sporty. But he is not only a muscle-pack, but also an affectionate soul.
Climber can be kept as a single pet, but he is also very friendly to other cats. Already neutered. .

VAMPY
Beautiful jet-black Vampy stands for our 5 black tom-cats and 4 black cat-girls who are just as adorable as her. They are all very cuddly, affectionate and sweet. Moreover, black cats are less delicate and more intelligent than their "lighter" counterparts. And: they are up to any game and fun.

AVALON is not only Lavinia´s sister, she also shares her fate. Like so many white cats in Southern Europe, also her earlobes got so badly burnt that they had to be removed. But her wounds also healed well and she is a healthy kitty.
AVALON is a rare beauty with a blue and a green eye. But, she is not as cuddly and affectionate as her sister Lavinia. Avalon is rather shy and frightful. Therefore, we are looking for a loving, understanding owner.

Came to Germany with her twin sister who was severely injured after a car accident and who unfortunately died. Therefore Spit takes some time to warm up but when the ice is broken she is a very playful cuddly pet.
Spit lives with her foster family in Germering and is looking forward to meeting you.

SMOKEY
No wonder that 2-year-old Smokey looks so stressed out. She has given birth to SEVEN kitties in May 2008. But now she is spayed and her offspring all found new loving homes. Ever since, she looks much more relaxed :-)

Beautiful two-year-old tom-cat, very friendly, already neuterered. Was guarding a shopping mall in Corralejo, but a Spanisch resident complained and wanted to have him poisoned. He was rescued in the last minute.
He is used to run free, therefore we need a loving owner with a nice garden. Felix is a little bit dominant.

There are always kittens looking for a new home, some of them are orphans who were raised by hand.
As soon as they are 11 weeks old, they are allowed to fly out to Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
